Bad food and good food

Isn't it horrible when you go out to eat and the food is...appalling? This happened to us last friday. We go out for happy hour with my coworker and his fiance almost every friday--and we try a variety of different bars. This one, which I'm not going to name, has decent beer prices...but the food. Oh dear.

How can a restaurant screw up fried food?? Craziness.

So, to balance the post, onward to some good food. Remember those homemade pitas we made with the pizza dough? We had some falafel and tzatziki to round it out. Deeeeeeeee-lish!

I'm heading to Detroit this weekend for Little Sister's graduation from college. Congratulations Little Sister!!

Congrats Little Sister!!!

Love the food reactions-too funny!!

Enjoy your trip to Detroit! I've got to get over there besides just a layover in the airport one of these days. :)

Have a wonderful trip and you're right, how can they screw up fried food.

That's a bummer. Really, how could some one screw up fried food? Shame on them. But you did compensate with some awesome pita sammies. Yum yum!!

I hate it when you go out and the food sucks. I get so depressed.

Do you make your own or do you use a box thing?

We used Near East and then Fantastic, but I'm not sure what's the best, the near east was a disaster somehow for us.

you guys are so funny. Look at your faces at this place. I just had a similar experience with a vegetarian resturant here. I felt embarrasssed because I never went there and I invited a bunch of omnivores what a disaster
