Much Love to the family of BuffaloDickdy
Richard DeYoung was one of my first blog readers and I owe so much to him for teasing and cajoling me into good cooking and of course, showing Michigan pride. He has passed away and we will remember him as an excellent cook, a great writer, a man with a joke and an inspiration. We are so lucky to have found him through food blogging and will always remember him.

I was in shock too when I read that he had passed. Very sweet post you two.
Wished I could have met him in person.
I was shocked when I went on his blog and saw the news. He was a good guy and always had nice things to say about my cooking, even tho he was a staunch carnivore.
There was no one like our friend Buff. A humorous, friendly man, taken from us too early. He will be missed, even by those of us who've never been within 100 miles of Detroit!
