My friend and hiking buddy, Jennifer, came over on MLK day to go for a hike south of the city. She came with a present for us...lemons from her dad's lemon tree! (Jen is from Florida)
Seems only logical to make lemonade with these giant, juicy lemons.

WOW, now I am on the floor! What a great freakin idea, and I had not thought of that one...they are only in season now, and sadly we do not drink sweet drinks anymore in my house :( Have some for me!
Pretty innovative!
How refreshing! And summer-ish! Ah you lucky ones, I want to come to the citrus party!
That's a good idea. I've been getting into more homemade drinks myself. I'll have to check this out.
if you have any lemons left, our lemon ricotta muffins are really good!! You can even freeze them if you make too much,
Chef E--thanks! I quickly realized I was unoriginal after googling it. (also after making it) Regardless, this is a nice beverage ;)
Buff--thanks! I still have 6 blood oranges--how can I use them in a meat dish for Tavo?
Anette--I'm so ready for summer its ridiculous! I should just live in a tropical climate. Yet, I love pulling on a sweater. Why? I don't know.
Alex--This is basic, you have blown me away with fantastic home concocted beverages...keep them coming!
Tommie--The muffins sound excellent, and I'm sure they are. I have an issue with ricotta...it's so childish, but I can't dig it. Ever.
It's one of very few, because I do love to eat. As long as it doesn't contain that @#$%&*@ ricotta ;)
(and this is why I have always been wary of lasagna)
Looks so refreshing! I want a glass of that right NOW.
Make a BB-Q sauce with them! orange-tomato really is good!
OH I WANT SOME ....
Jesse--it was EXCELLENT
Buffalo--great idea! Wish I'd read that before I ate all of them :/ I'll have to see if they're still on special.
Tanja--it was EXCELLENT
Oh, who cares, I have not seen it in a blog, so you could have fooled me!
