Yours truly, looking quite gorgeous after running a half marathon on Sunday. I've previously made the disclosure that I look HORRIBLE when I run...this continues to be true.
My coworker suggested that I should be on the cover of Wheaties. Indeed! Thanks, Ryan :)
(please ignore lousy photoshop skills)
..and here's at home after a shower, chilling with my medal.

Congrats on finishing the marathon. That actually on my to-do list to at least try and finished on marathon. I have yet to do one. Call me lazy. lol.
I remember what it used to be like to be in shape....good job to you!
Congrats! Did two at Grand Valley College, and the River Run twice(25K!) I would love to be young again!
You inspired a post I just put up...
Jenn--Do you run? It took me a few years of running 5Ks and 10Ks before I was ready for a half. I still haven't done a full 26.2 and I might not... it's really hard on the old joints after a few hours
Doggy--thanks! I'm not as 'in shape' as I probably should be ;)
Buffalo--what a cool story. You let me know--we should meet up for a 5K in your side of the state.
Awesome!! Congrats...I hate running.
I have to admire you for entering. Why not be a Wheaties champion, indeed, at least on your own box of cereal!
Did you have to train for that, or are you just like in that kind of shape. I think I could run for like 5 minutes and then I'd have to stop and walk...
Girli--I didn't use to like it, but something happened ;)
Marjie--I should have done my own cereal--good idea!
Alex--train! I'm training at least an hour four days a week--not all running, a mixture of stuff. (mostly this is just so I can continue to eat pizza and drink beer to my heart's content)
Damn! You should be sooooo proud. As I always say, I don't run unless someone is chasing me with a knife.
Congrats on the marathon!!!
