Tennessee (hey this is post 200!)

I remember pleading with my mom when driving home on school nights..."Mom, let's keep going! Let's go to Toledo!"

Not that Toledo is the promised land, but somehow it's really enticing to leave the state line. Go to another state.

Luckily, I'm able to talk Tavo into it :)

We're heading out to eat breakfast...in Tennessee! Here is the always powerful Arrested Development.

thats pretty cool, in new mexico the border to mexico, texas, arizona, colorado or whatever was at least and 8 hour drive - in NYC its minutes depending on how close you are to a bridge or tunnel

I was always begging to go to grocery stores in Windsor. 'Cause, like those Canadians have really cool groceries!

History lesson: Toledo was once a contested area between Michigan and Ohio...To shut us up, the U.S. government made the U.P. a part of Michigan, and Toledo went to Ohio... We thought we got screwed, until the largest iron strike in U.S. was found in U.P... Copper, too!

Doggy--Yeah, Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina are all within a couple hours. Initially I wanted to go to the beach, but that's a 5 hour drive. Should have thought of that on Saturday morning!

Tommie--Kids do require so much stuff...but still its fun to travel with them :)

Maggie--we used to go picnic in Windsor, right by the water. I was just excited to be in a different country!

Buffalo--I learned that in school, too :)

Katherine--that might not be a bad idea....you might hear a knock on your door next sunday ;)
