Bogota, Colombia Part IV

I was going to do this in three posts, but I'm too tired to write anymore right now. Here is my favorite movie that Tavo made during our week in Colombia. We are riding the TransMilenio, which is the rapid bus transit Bogota uses instead of trains. It is very crowded and slightly confusing (note--bring pen and paper to write down ALL buses that stop at your destination, and RUN to catch any of those buses that happen to come by...then squeeze yourself in and hope you are close enough to the door to actually get out at your stop)

Here is the video, a nice uncrowded bus on a Thursday afternoon:

Isn't it cool? I like to youtube a song for the background. This is us heading back to our place in Chapinero.

Part Three of Bogota will be up on Wednesday.

Neat.

I'd love to visit Colombia some day. One of my best friend's is from there.

I had to read this twice to figure out you're numbering them backward, a la Dave Letterman. Nice of you to confuse me early in the morning!

Glad you're back safe and sound.

Jenn--It is a good trip! JetBlue has some really good deals..

Girli and 5 star--the buses ROAR by--mostly we just tried to stay out of the way!

Marjie--thanks! I was half asleep when I posted this, so it isn't likely to make much sense ;)

Doggy--and how!

Alex--yeah, lots of US cities have horrid public transit. I still prefer trains to buses, though. Buses just get insanely crowded.
